Having had such an opportunity to travel and see much of the country after college was enjoyable and beneficial. For a year after graduating, Kate and I traveled for my alma mater. We traveled in the Northeast, South and Texas. Since I never had the privilege to travel in the Midwest, our family came up this way for a year to get acquainted with this part of the country (of course my wife was because she is from here, but I'm not). Since we don't yet have a trailer, we rented out a place for the duration of our visit.
Now it is time to go back again to our home church, Hand Avenue Baptist Church, in lower Alabama. After we move, we plan to notify churches about the Lord leading us into evangelism. Having been up this way for a bit means we'll have friends here too as we get ready to launch.
Please pray for several things -it has been tremendous preaching in evangelism as the Lord has opened doors, but now as we get closer to the next step of officially launching out- the first prayer request is for our family personally. We need the Lord's wisdom and direction in all that we do. As we take each step, we have been seeking our pastor's counsel (Pastor Leo Mejia) as well. He is God's man, and the God appointed authority in my life. He has been a great encouragement to me, always giving godly counsel. Secondly, we need safety and provision as we make our move back down to the South. Lastly, we are asking the Lord for opportunities to serve alongside churches for the cause of evangelism and revival. Where the Lord calls, He enables. We are looking forward, with great anticipation, for how the Lord will work!
